Safety Measures (Everyone should take 5 minutes to read this. It may save your life or a loved one’s life.)

After reading these 9 crucial tips, forward them to someone you care about. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.

1. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy..
The driver won’t see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
 
2. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc.
DON’T DO THIS!)

The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR , LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE..

If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
3. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware:look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor , and in the back seat.

B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

C.) Look at the car parked on the driver’s side of your vehicle, and the passenger side.. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
4. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs in the evening.
Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)

5. As women, do not be sympathetic especially to strangers: STOP IT!

6. Water and Generator  scam!
If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside running or what you think is a burst pipe or your generator suddenly stop at night, DO NOT GO OUT TO INVESTIGATE! These people turn on all your outside taps full blast and turn off your generator set so that you will go out to investigate and then attack.

The Dirtiest Things You Touch Every Day


1. Money
Everybody loves money, but nobody loves the germs that comes along with it! Yuck. From the Ralphs cashier to the business executive’s office to the homeless man on the street, there’s an enormous amount of bacteria on every buckaroo in your pocket. Dr. Darlington, the Health Commissioner of New York, found 135,000 bacteria from washing one bill and 126,000 from another. The way to tackle this problem is easy: wash your hands.
 
2. Light Switch 
Somebody’s got to do it, and usually it’s the last person in the room. So pack up your things quick and get out of there because turning off the light switch in a public area is just about the nastiest task anyone can be assigned to do, besides counting rolls of money (refer to #1). All the itty bitty germs love swirling around on the plastic switch that’s touched by millions of dirty fingers over the years add up to about 217 bacteria/square inch. According to a local restroom sanitation glossary, that’s what you’d call a common contact point where germs are transmitted. Clorox wipe, anyone?
 
3. Computer Keyboard
The computer’s your friend (except when it freezes on you in the most pivotal moments of life) but its accompanying keyboard is a nemesis thriving with germs. In a study from a British consumer group in 2009, 33 computer keyboards were randomly sampled and out of these tested four were considered a health hazard. One was even discovered to have more bacteria than your average toilet. The only way to clean (or delete) this pile of cooties is to spray the keyboard with a can of compressed air and wipe with a cloth dipped in mild detergent.

Simple Steps For Setting And Achieving Your Goals


The number one reason some people get more work done faster is because they are absolutely clear about their goals and objectives and they don't deviate from them. A major reason for procrastination and lack of motivation is vagueness, confusion, and fuzzy-mindedness about what you've supposed to do and in what order and for what reason. You must avoid this common condition with all your strength by striving for greater clarity in everything you do.

Here is a great rule for success: Think on paper.
Only about 3% of adults have clear, written goals. These people accomplish five and ten times as much as people of equal or better education and ability but who have never taken the time to write out exactly what it is they want. There's a powerful formula for setting and achieving goals that you can use for the rest of your life. It consists of seven simple steps. Taking any one of these steps can double or triple your productivity if you're not currently using it. Many graduates of my training programs have increased their incomes dramatically in a matter of a few years, or even a few months, with this simple, seven-step method.

Step 1: Decide exactly what you want. It's amazing how many people are working away, day after day, on low-value tasks because they've not decided what they want.

Step 2: Write it down. Think on paper. When you write down your goal, you crystallize it and give it tangible form. You create something that you can touch and see. On the other hand, a goal or objective that's not in writing is merely a wish or fantasy. It has no energy behind it. Unwritten goals lead to confusion, vagueness, misdirection and numerous mistakes.

Step 3: Set a deadline with your goal. A goal or decision without a deadline has no urgency. It has no real beginning or end. Without a definite deadline, you'll naturally procrastinate and get little done.

What Coke Does To Your Body in 60 minutes


1) In the first 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake) You don't immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor, allowing you to keep it down.

5) (a) 60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium, and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.

(b) 60 minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium, and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolytes, and water.

(c) 60 minutes: As the rave inside you dies down, you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You've also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like hydrating your system, or building strong bones and teeth.

10 Foods That Damage Your Teeth


Most people know candy and other sugary foods wreak havoc on their teeth,but how about fruit?

You've probably heard brushing and flossing twice a day is the best way to keep your teeth healthy.But some foods cause enough damage to warrant extra cleanings.

1. Apples
Apples are high in acid, are surprisingly hard on your enamel.While a daily apple may keep the doctor away, the acid might keep your dentist on speed dial.Eating apples is fine, just be sure to rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash shortly after.

2. Hard candies
Though you probably know the sugar in candy is a problem, hard candies are especially harmful because we tend to hold them in our mouths longer.Also be aware that cough drops are often made with sugar, so opt for the sugar-free brand if available.

3. Pickled vegetables
Pickles are made with vinegar, which is acidic, and often sugar as well. While the vegetables are healthy, the brine is can damage your teeth.Drinking water with
your meal helps wash away acids and sugar, but remember to brush an hour later.

Your 'Sexy' Hips Could Actually Be Saddlebags (photo)

Saddlebags appear on the thighs. They are not curves in the sense of coke-bottle shape (*singing* i want dat coke bottle body ahn- who sang it sef?). HIPS ARE MORE LIKE CURVES WHILE SADDLEBAGS ARE LIKE SHARP ANGLES..

1.) Cardio- cardio exercises are a great way to burn excess fat. Though these exercises may start effect from the upper part of the body, it will eventually burn down to the hips and proportionately around the body.

Study Reveals Most Erotic Parts Of The Body


Most and least erotic parts of the human body 
According to Daily Mail, a research conducted by neuro-scientists from Bangor University revealed that the human FEET were the LEAST erotic part of the body. Check out the other results after the break ...
FEMALES
A woman's mouth and lips was voted the most erotic body part with the highest rating of 7.9 out of 10.
The nape of neck scored 7.5 out 10.
Nipples and breasts came in joint third with a rating of 7.3 out of 10.
Bottoms came fourth with 4.5 out of 10.
Hips scored 3.5 and feet received a rating of just one out of 10. 

MALES
The mouth and lips received the highest rating of seven out of 10.
A man's inner thigh received a rating of 5.8 out of 10.
The nape of the neck scored 5.6 out of 10.
Nipples received 4.8 out of 10.
The lower back was rated as the fifth most erotic body part on a man with 2.8 out of 10.
While the least erotic part of a man's body was the forearm with a score of one out of 10.

Reduce Accidents in your Workplace



The best way to reduce accidents in the workplace is to be proactive with prevention. An ounce of prevention they say  is worth a pound of cure.Below are some of the procedure you can follow to reduce if not totally prevent accident in your workplace
 
1. Put formal safety policies and procedures in place. Create a company handbook that lists out the steps that must take place in order to prevent accidents in the work place. Include instructions such as how to store dangerous and toxic items and where certain product should be stowed to ensure safe storage and retrieval.

2. Put someone in charge of safety in your company. Discuss the current safety policies with this safety coordinator, and work on a plan to make sure that they are adhered to. Confirm that the person is aware of all the responsibilities associated with safety. Express your support to this person and arrange to meet on a regular basis to discuss concerns about and solutions to further accident prevention.

3. Communicate your expectations for a safe work environment. Let your staff know on a regular basis that safety is a major concern in your business. You can do this verbally and you can reiterate your expectations in memos. You can also post safety information throughout your facility.
  • Words are one thing, but act accordingly, too. If someone encounters a possible safety hazard, move quickly to correct it. Don't wait for it to correct itself or assume that someone else is going to do it.
  • Ask your employees whether they have any suggestions about improving workplace safety. One safety coordinator is certainly helpful, but a handful of ears and eyes is almost always preferable to just one. Create an anonymous input form that employees can fill out at their discretion.

The Carbondioxide (CO2) level in the air is steadily on the rise, with its concentration going up each day, leaving its effects and impact on temperature and sea level. There is need for a change, an urgent change; Every gobal citizen has a role to play. There is a need to reduce our cummulative Emission of Greenhouse Gases so as to drastically minimize the continuous destruction of the Ozone layer and avert the great disaster that looms. There must be a global yet deliberate move to control the amount of CO2 & greenhouse gases released into earth's atmosphere. This agreement must be reached by the international community to limit CO2 emissions thereby providing a platform for wealth transfer that could help shift the balance of economic power in the world.

Global warming is an issue affecting the entire planet earth, but, what can we do as individuals to make a difference? You do not have to go to war to sensitize people on the effects of global warming, we can make a difference individually by adjusting our ATTITUDE towards everyday living, our LIFESTYLE & how we relate with our immediate environment through the items we buy, how we use & discard them, the fuels we burn (Diesel, Petrol, Kerosine...) etc.
